Persons visiting the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) Headquarters to conduct services relating to Licence Revenue Operations, Taxpayer Services, Central Registration and Cashier are asked to note the following working hours:

• Mondays – Thursdays: 07:00hrs to 15:00hrs
• Fridays: 07:00hrs to 14:00hrs

The early closure also extends to the Integrated Regional Tax Offices (IRTOs); however, these offices will open at the normal working hour (08:00hrs). The general public is advised that the work of GRA’s Customs operations at wharves and ports of entry will not be affected by this early closure.

The measure remains in effect until September 30, 2020. Taxpayers are encouraged to utilise alternative payment options and online facilities.

This new measure takes into account the reduction in traffic at the GRA. It also facilitates staff honouring the curfew that was set in place by the Public Health Ordinance.
